A few days ago the sale of the new DS3 began in the Greek market. The newest model from DS Automobiles made its first official appearance at the most prominent institution of haute couture, Paris Fashion Week.receiving rave reviews from the public and journalists.
The DS 3 Crossback was presented to the Greek public for the first time in 2018 with its innovative design, luxurious materials with specialized processing techniques and technological innovations, while its pure electric version followed two years later.

Planning
The French SUV3 it retains its bold design identity while embracing clean lines that accentuate its exterior appearance and further highlight its refined sculptural silhouette. The front section follows the new design identity of DS Automobiles. The slim LED headlights, part of the vehicle’s standard equipment, as well as the daytime running lights, consisting of two vertical LED strips, are highlighted by the new grille and redesigned DS Wings. At the same time, emphasis was placed on optimizing aerodynamics, as in the lower part of the mask the air ducts are flanked by two air sections, which significantly improves the vehicle’s drag coefficient.
The interior remains a benchmark for quality and attention to detail, with elements found in much larger car classes. The seats (optionally heated with massage function) “embrace” the passengers, providing them with a high level of comfort. The interior decoration makes generous use of high-quality materials to create a unique, comfortable and relaxing environment. High-quality fabrics, Claudia leather, and Nappa leather are highlighted and distinguished through specialized processing techniques such as pearl stitching, the “Clous de Paris” finishing technique found in Haute Horlogerie, and the treatment of the leather in a “bracelet” pattern.
Technology
The new DS 3 incorporates the new DS Iris System, an intuitive, fully customizable infotainment system with widgets, offering 3D navigation and including a personal assistant, IRIS, which recognizes natural speech. In addition, the new infotainment system provides the wireless Mirror Screen function (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay).
In addition to the new generation infotainment, in the new DS 3 we find technological innovations, both in the basic and optional equipment of the model, such as: Matrix Led Vision, Drive Assist, keyless entry and start system, active assistance/lane keeping new generation system and blind spot monitoring system.

The New DS 3 E-Tense features a powerful new battery, with a capacity of 54kWh (usable capacity 50.8kWh), The new battery can be recharged from 0 to 80% in 25 minutes with a 100kW DC fast charger, while with one of 11kW AC the three-phase wallbox can be fully charged in about 5 hours.
In addition, the placement of the new compact battery between the front and rear seats, under the central tunnel and the special construction of the rear axle, allow the New DS 3 E-Tense to retain all the advantages of vehicles with internal combustion engines ( comfortable space for rear passengers, large trunk, driving position identical to that of internal combustion vehicles, etc.).
At the same time, the new HSM (Hybrid Synchronous Motor), manufactured in Trémery, France, offers a power of 156 PS and a torque of 260 Nm, immediately available to the driver and guarantees maximum driving pleasure with zero emissions. The new battery combined with the aerodynamic optimization increases the range of the vehicle up to 404 kilometers in WLTP combined cycle, while the driver of the new DS 3 E-Tense has up to 575 kilometers of range in urban environment (WLTP).
The range of the new DS 3 is completed with the Blue HDi 130 engine with an 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission and two PureTech 100 gasoline engines with a 6-speed manual transmission and a PureTech 130 with an 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission.
Equipment Levels-Prices
The new DS 3 is offered in 5 trim levels depending on the engine. More specifically the Bastille, Rivoli, Opera, Performance Line and Performance Line+ editions.
Finally, prices start at €29,900 for gasoline, €38,500 for diesel and €47,800 for electric, while customers of the new DS 3 will be able to enjoy the DS Assistance program that provides them with 5 years of free roadside assistance ( along with a 5-year factory warranty).
