Introducing “Gaming PC – Lvl 3 Plus”: a powerful system for high demands

By | May 16, 2023

Choosing a personal computer is a difficult and laborious process. If someone has never built a PC themselves, they will usually resort to ready-made solutions that are often not of a high standard. In the monthly guide we will see a compilation of PCsteps, which we have created after years of experience to help you choose your new system, as well as the new service and discounts that we have at PCsteps.shop.

Presentation

In PCsteps monthly PC buying guide we can see the best options with PC builds ready for every use, from 399 to 16,934 euros. In this particular article we will analyze the Gaming PC – “Lvl 3” composition, which we can find here at 1,599 euros, without additional transport and assembly costs, ready for shipment.

Let’s see piece by piece all the hardware of this composition.

Processor

First, we chose the Intel Core i5-13600K for the processor of the composition. The i5-13600K is a 14-core, 20-thread processor, 2.6 GHz base frequency with the ability to go up to 5.1 GHz, and has integrated graphics.

intel core

For a high-end system, this will cover our needs and more than that. We will not find any problem in the game, no matter how demanding the title is, while at the same time you can run the rest of the applications comfortably and quickly.

processor heat sink

To cool the Intel Core i5-13600K, we chose the AIO Lian Li Galahad 240 Black 240mm, which is a very good choice from VFM for water cooling with a radiator size of dual 120mm fans each, spinning at 1900rpm and pretty quiet as a unit. .

Graphic card

This particular PC has a separate graphics card, the NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 implemented by ASUS, with which we can play all AAA titles at 1080p 60fps with all settings maxed out. For 1440p resolution, most games will consistently run at least 60fps on max settings, with only very demanding titles seeing 5-10fps drops.

RAM

In the system we added the standard set of memories that any decent gaming build needs, namely 2x8GB 3600MHz memories. The price difference with the lower frequencies is very small, so choosing the 3600 MHz set is a one-way street.

If 32 GB of memory is needed, the option of 4×8 GB at a frequency of 3600 MHz is offered in the “RAM Selection” menu.

Motherboard

All the hardware in our composition is based on a premium and quality motherboard, the MSI Pro Z690-A DDR4, with all the necessary outputs that a gaming system needs. It has many features such as 2xPCIe 4.0 gen for M.2 drives, DisplayPort and HDMI to connect our monitors, 4 DDR4 DIMM slots, addressable and RGB LED headers, 6 USB ports and much more.

Storage room

The system has a 1TB M.2 NVMe drive, the Samsung 980, for the main storage, which is fast and roomy to install the operating system, and the additional applications that we need for our work.

If one disk is not enough for us, and among us it is never, there is the possibility of adding a separate HDD from the corresponding menu.

Power supply

The criteria for choosing a power supply for us at PCsteps is always quality and reliability, and not low price or high watts. So for our build, we used the 700-watt 80 Plus Gold certified Be Quiet System Power 9, which is more than enough for the system and allows us to add anything else we want in the future.

It should be noted here that the power supply is Semi Modular, so we can arrange our cables with relative ease.

Be Quiet has high-quality products with guaranteed results, and we often prefer them in our formulations.

Box

Finally, our line is housed in NZXT’s H510 Flow White box, which is white in color. It’s a Midi size case, and it has a tempered glass side window, fan filters, possibility of cooler up to 280mm, and very good cable management to keep cables as organized as possible.

Of course, as we can see, the box also provides RGB lighting, if we care about style alongside functionality.

OS and warranty

This composition, like all the ones we have created in our online store, does not have an operating system. You can get Windows keys and more here. Additionally, all of our formulations come with a 3-year warranty.

sale of merchandise

At PCsteps.shop we can still find all PCsteps merchandise at a great discount.

We have five t-shirts with different designs in sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, a PCsteps mask to protect us from the pandemic that is plaguing us and our new product, the PCsteps cap.

We remind you that the €10 coupon offer with the purchase of a t-shirt is not valid while the merchandise is on sale.

“Steps To Your New PC” Service

Our new service “Steps to your new PC” has been available for a long time in our online store PCsteps.shop. If someone is not interested in our ready-made comps, they can continue to purchase this service so that the PCsteps team can create a new one for them from scratch.

The whole process is as follows. First we proceed to pay for the service, either by bank deposit or card payment, and then we send you a link with a Google form. This form has questions specifically designed to find out all your preferences.

Then, based on the responses we see, we proceed to build a pipeline with the goal of always finding VFM hardware at the most affordable price possible.

Then, we send it to your email, and if you agree, we proceed to your payment. Here it should be noted that the initial cost of the service will be deducted from the final amount, which is €25. The assembled composition ships within 7 to 10 business days.
