iPhone apps compatible with Live Activities and Dynamic Island

Apple released iOS 16.1 to the public on Monday, and among the new features and improvements that come with the update, this version introduces an API for Live Activities on the lock screen and for Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro. Read on as we detail the first few iPhone apps support these features with iOS 16.1.

For those unfamiliar, Live Activities is a feature available for all iPhone models running iOS 16 that displays useful app information right on the lock screen. At first, only a few Apple apps, like Music and Clock, had live activities. But with iOS 16.1, developers can also integrate their apps with this feature.

At the same time, apps that support Live Activities can also display the same information on Dynamic Island for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users. We have selected some of the first apps that added support for the Live Activities and Dynamic Island APIs.
