The project began with the auto company’s philosophy of “not pretending to be a mainstream brand,” but offering itself as a contemporary option for younger generations looking for a sustainable lifestyle. . masquespacio evokes a ‘world of utopias’
the Designer Team in Masquespacio designs the Barcelona Club for lynk and company to evoke a ‘world of utopias’. Responding to its site along the main shopping avenue of Paseo de Gràcia, the Spanish design studio sought to connect the different artistic zones of the city, widely known as one of the world’s leading creative hubs.
Masquespacio respects the architecture of the existing building, which the team describes as having a “brutalist style full of imperfections” to create “the perfect point of connection with the style applied in other Lynk & Co clubs”. The elevated room is occupied by smaller micro-spaces, each inspired by creative themes such as architecture, film, and music.

The Masquespacio design team explains the many interventions within their Barcelona Club for Lynk & Co: ‘Immediately at the entrance you can see a gigantic reflective green castle containing the changing rooms with a distorted effect that clearly shows that in the new Lynk & Co in Barcelona, nothing is traditional. The car on its sides is located in the shape of a whale made in 3D, while in the bathrooms you will find a light and sound show that will remind you of your favorite childhood movie.
“In the space above you can find exhibition areas with sustainable objects that Lynk & Co selected, along with unexpected areas for co-working like the pool that is behind an old safe door that was in the previous space.”
The team continues: “In summary, the new Lynk & Co in Barcelona is a versatile venue, capable of adapting to any event, with a colorful yet sophisticated design, full of utopias to discover. Lynk & Co have come up with the perfect alternative to spending the morning negotiating at the dealership: clubbing.’
