The recently released Fall Luxe Report from The Leading Hotels of the World confirms that travelers continue to “barter” with their travel purchases. Chairman and CEO Shannon Knapp says the luxury hotel group’s suite and villa bookings are 36% above 2019 levels. The report also showed continued interest in domestic travel, despite reopening of international borders.

The group’s metropolitan properties have experienced a 100% increase in revenue since 2021, and outbound travel from the US to Europe increased approximately 225% year-over-year and was flat through 2019.
