An impressive tour of the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis and its great monuments, just as they were in the 5th century BC. C., can be enjoyed through the new COSMOTE CHRONOS app.
The COSMOTE CHRONOS app that takes us on a journey to the Acropolis of ancient Athens is offered free of charge to the Greek and world public, via mobile phones and tablets, by COSMOTE in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The application recreates, before the eyes of the spectators, the scientifically documented virtual digital representations of the Parthenon, the temple of Bravronia Artemis and the Chalcotheque (today not preserved), as well as the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the monuments of the south aisle of Holy Rock , seen from the Acropolis Museum.
It also features iconic exhibits specific to the Museum’s third floor, where the Parthenon sculptures are displayed.
App users can admire the monuments in their life-size and navigate inside from anywhere, be it on the Acropolis itself, anywhere in Greece or abroad.
In the Sacred Rock, the experience takes off, since with the use of augmented reality, virtual digital representations are projected dynamically and precisely on the current image of the monuments, as recorded by the camera of the mobile device.

Since the mobile device supports and connects to a 5G network, as it requires high data transmission speed and almost zero response time, Cleo can use advanced artificial intelligence to chat with the user in real time, already having the ability to answer more than 10,000 questions. on the Acropolis in Greek and English.
It also offers the possibility of making a group trip of up to 5 people. In a 4G or WiFi network environment, only auto guidance is possible.
